CONGRATULATIONS ON RUSSIA DAY
On June 12th, the Russian Federation celebrates its national holiday – Russia Day. This holiday embodies our inseparable connection with the Motherland, the common responsibility for the present and future of a great country, the continuity of generations and the unity of society. It also symbolizes the large-scale transformations that Russia has experienced through the ages on the path of its development and establishment as a great nation.
Russia’s historic way was not always easy and frequently led up to hard times that our country repeatedly overcame. Today, there are forces that again are trying to split the unity of the Russian people, using such tools as unjustified sanctions, large-scale information war, discrimination against the Russians abroad and the cancelation of the Russian culture.
Despite all these attempts aimed to diminish and underrate our country’s role in global policy, security and economy Russia will always respect the norms of the international law and adhere to the right of all peoples in the world to live in accordance with their historical and cultural traditions. We will always protect the rights and freedoms of our citizens who deserve to live up to their interests and values regardless of all circumstances and external political and economic pressure. We believe that our joint and assiduous work will result in prosperity and wellbeing of Russia as well as our friends and supporters.
The Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Ghana wishes Happy Russia Day to all compatriots living abroad and to all friends of our great country.
