FOR THE ATTENTION OF FOREIGN MEDIA THAT DO NOT HAVE OFFICIAL UEFA ACCREDITATION

For representatives of foreign media that do not have official UEFA accreditation, as well as independent journalists and bloggers who want to cover Russian matches of the European Football Championship 2020, a Host City Media Center (HCMC) will be created in St. Petersburg – an analog of the official press center.

Accreditation to the HCMC is carried out until July 12, 2021, centrally via the website www.welcome2020.ru.

After receiving confirmation of accreditation from the HCMC, foreign citizens can apply to the diplomatic and consular missions of Russia with a visa application.

When applying, the applicant provides a copy of the accreditation confirmation and medical insurance valid for the entire period of the planned stay
in Russia.

Visa issuance fees are charged in accordance with the Russian legislation
or international agreements.

If foreign media employees intend to engage in professional activities during the European Football Championship (from June 1st to July 15th, 2021) in other regions of Russia, they must obtain accreditation (registration) in the Information and Press Department (IPD) of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
